The heater assembly is housed in stainless steel rectangular tubing with a T304SS sheath, and all voids are densely packed with high-purity magnesium oxide to maximize thermal conductivity and dielectric strength.

The rectangular tube design provides full surface contact when installed in a milled slot, ensuring maximum heat transfer area and uniform temperature distribution. For surface mounting installations, strip heaters must be securely clamped along their entire length to a smooth metal surface. When supported by mounting tabs, the terminal end should be secured firmly while the opposite end remains loose to allow for thermal expansion.
