CVEP-C Series Modules

Engineered for hazardous locations, this explosion proof convection heater delivers reliable, corrosion-resistant heat where volatile flammable liquids, gases, or vapors may be present. Basic models without controls are UL listed and CSA certified for use in Class I, Division 1 or 2, Groups B, C, D locations, with temperature codes T3A 180℃ (356℉) or T2A 280℃ (536℉). Select models include an integral thermostat for on-unit temperature control.

Construction

Cabinet — Sloped top, heavy 16 gauge steel, polyester powder coated for maximum corrosion resistance.

Explosion Proof Junction Box — Facilitates conduit entry and simplifies power wiring.

Heating Elements — Sealed, metal-sheathed, heavy-duty, low watt density elements with high-grade resistance wire embedded in MgO refractory core; elements inserted in copper tube with aluminum fins for efficient convection.

Features

Integral mounting brackets for easy wall installation. The sloped top cabinet enhances ventilation by preventing objects from restricting airflow. Designed and tested for hazardous area heating performance and long service life.
