ChromaStar™ infra-red portable radiant heaters deliver powerful, targeted heat without relying on air movement—ideal for primary or spot heating in challenging environments. Built for long life and minimal maintenance, these industrial heaters have no moving parts, no motors, and require no filters or lubrication. A rugged extruded aluminum housing protects the heating elements, positioned at the focal point of mirrored aluminum reflector(s) for efficient, even heat distribution.

All models feature exclusive Arctic End™ patent-pending terminal construction to reduce terminal box temperatures, extending element and wiring life. Hairpin-bent .430" diameter alloy sheath tubular elements use high-quality resistance wire embedded in carefully selected MgO refractory insulation. Wedged-in silicone bushings provide exceptional resistance to moisture absorption. Elements connect to a gasketed, moisture-resistant terminal enclosure with liquid-tight bulkhead threaded fittings. An extension reflector of 0.050" mirrored aluminum further enhances a uniform heating pattern.

Portable

Units arrive fully assembled on a rugged, chrome-nickel plated tubular steel cart and handle for easy mobility (select lower-wattage models feature a fixed pedestal). Large wheels improve portability, and integrated safety grills help protect personnel from hot elements.

Field wiring is simplified through a 3/4" conduit opening in the terminal enclosure. Select models include a factory-installed 6-foot cord with grounding plug, while others can be field wired using available accessory cable and plug kits.
