Description

Engineered for reliable, efficient barrel and nozzle heating, these mica band heaters deliver fast heat-up, uniform temperature distribution, and long service life. A precisely wound Nichrome element is embedded in a high-quality mica core, creating a thin profile that transfers heat quickly to the working surface for responsive process control. The mica provides excellent dielectric strength and superior heat transfer, while the continuous corrosion-resistant sheath protects the assembly and is formed with closed ends to guard against contamination. Maximum sheath temperature is 800°F.
