Built with fine nickel-chromium alloy wire spiraled onto a fiberglass core and encapsulated between layers of high-grade silicone rubber, they offer excellent dielectric strength, flexibility, and long-term durability. Precision electronic winding and hand-laid circuits ensure repeatable resistance and uniform heat distribution; parallel circuits are utilized where possible to permit continued operation even if a single path is damaged.

Designed for demanding environments, performance is maintained from -80℉ up to 500℉. Typical maximum continuous operating temperature is about 200℃ (392℉), making these flexible heaters ideal for applications requiring dependable, targeted thermal control. Standard units include 120V operation with optimized watt densities for efficient heat transfer and 8″ silicone rubber leads for straightforward installation.

• PSA – High temperature silicone pressure sensitive adhesive rated to 500℉ (260℃) for peel-and-stick installation. For best results, allow a 12-hour dwell before operation.
• Integrated controls and sensing – Add thermostats, thermal fuses, temperature sensors, thermocouples, or RTDs as part of the heater assembly; call us for configurations.
• Fasteners – For cylindrical or temporary installs, specify eyelets with springs or snap fasteners to maintain close contact and accommodate circumference variation. Many canvas/leather-style fasteners can be built into the sheath; call us.
