Self-regulating heat trace cable for reliable pipe tracing, freeze protection, and low-temperature process maintenance—priced per foot.

We cut to length with 20 foot minimum

  • Self-limiting technology automatically adjusts heat output as surface temperatures change
  • Safe to overlap and insulate for simplified installation
  • Field cut-to-length and terminated; termination kits required and NOT included
  • No temperature controller required* for general freeze protection
  • Moisture, chemical, and flame resistant construction with durable metal braid options and overjackets

* If a specific process temperature is needed, a temperature controller is required.

  • Continuous maintenance temperature: 150F (66C) maximum
  • Intermittent exposure temperature: 185F (85C) maximum; -20F (-29C) minimum
  • Available heat outputs: 3, 5, 8, or 10 watts/ft (10, 16, 26, or 33 watts/m)
  • Supply voltages: 110–120VAC or 208–277VAC
  • 16AWG bus wires; tinned copper braid 0.003 ohms/ft (0.009 ohms/m); stainless steel braid 0.125 ohms/ft (0.410 ohms/m)
  • T-Rating: T6 for 3, 5, 8 watts/ft; T5 for 10 watts/ft**

** Electrical equipment T-rating codes define the maximum surface temperature that equipment will reach. Used in hazardous (classified) area applications.

Braid and Jacket Options

  • Metal braid: Tinned copper or stainless steel
  • Overjackets: Thermoplastic elastomer for weak chemical environments; fluoropolymer for strong chemical environments

Ordinary Locations; Hazardous (Classified) Locations: Class I, Division 2, Groups B, C, D; Class II, Division 2 (E,F,G per model); Class III, Division 2.

Approvals valid only when used with appropriate heating cable and installation accessories, and installed per all applicable instructions, codes, and regulations. 2E approved for 3 and 5 watts/ft only.

Note: Special consideration must be given for the circuit breaker due to high initial in‑rush currents.
