Over-the-Side Immersion Heaters engineered for dependable, efficient tank heating across industrial processes. Available in round or L-shaped configurations to match tank geometry and workspace, these heaters deliver targeted heat for process and clean water, lightweight oils, degreasing solutions, mild caustic solutions, and mildly corrosive chemistries such as citric and phosphoric acid.

Construction:

Tubular heating elements are welded into a liquid‑tight junction box. Power leads run through the riser to a terminal block in the NEMA 4 housing. Units ship wired for three‑phase and can be converted to single‑phase on site. A standard thermowell accepts a 3/8" bulb for an optional thermostat, which can be field installed using enclosure mounting lugs. 4" (102 mm) sludge legs keep elements off the tank bottom and above deposits for longer life and safer operation.

Choose round or L-shaped over-the-side configurations based on tank size, shape, and accessibility. Typical uses include heating lightweight oils, mineral oil, degreasing baths, process and clean water, mild caustic solutions (2% max.), and mildly corrosive solutions. Incoloy® and steel sheath options help match media compatibility and corrosion resistance.
